A word from Pastor Dunkin

Dear friend,
you’re welcome here.

Rehobeth is not a big church. We’re a family — neighbors and newcomers gathered each week around the plain preaching of God’s Word, the great hymns of the faith, and a shared hope in Jesus Christ.

Whether you’ve walked with the Lord for fifty years, you’re sorting through hard questions, or you’ve simply never set foot in a Baptist church before — there’s a seat here with your name on it. Come as you are. We’ll meet you at the door.

— Pastor Tim Dunkin

7:00 PMPrayer MeetingWednesday

Midweek Bible study and prayer. A week feels different when you come.

Our purpose

Three things we’re here to do — faithfully, week after week.

I.

Evangelize the lost

We preach a plain Gospel — that Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again — and we keep preaching it. In the pulpit, on the phone, across the kitchen table, and on the radio on Saturday mornings.

Romans 10:14

II.

Edify the saints

We teach the Bible verse by verse. We sing the old hymns without apology. We pray together. And we walk alongside every Christian — young in the faith or seasoned — toward Christlikeness.

Ephesians 4:12

III.

Glorify the Lord Jesus

Above all, we exist to honor Him. Every gathering, every ministry, every missionary we support — aimed at one end: that the name of the Lord Jesus Christ would be lifted up.

1 Corinthians 10:31

A church in the world

We may be small —
but we send.

For a church our size, the thing we’re most serious about is missions. We support a dozen missionaries and mission organizations every month — spanning the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Mexico, refugee ministry here in Greensboro, prison ministry, and more.

When you give at Rehobeth, a portion goes around the world before sundown.
